Mayor's Welcome

Welcome to Radium Hot Springs!

Nestled between the Rocky and Purcell Mountains, at the entrance to Kootenay National Park, Radium is a place where spectacular scenery and small-town hospitality come together.

My family and I enjoyed visiting for many years before making Radium our permanent home in 2017. Like so many others, we were drawn by the natural beauty, but it is the people and sense of community that make this place home.

Whether you live here year-round, return whenever you can, or are discovering Radium for the first time, I hope you feel that same welcome.

There is much to enjoy here in every season. Explore our walking trails, spend time in our parks, visit the library, or relax in the famous hot springs. Discover our local shops and restaurants, enjoy the surrounding mountains and wetlands, and watch for the bighorn sheep that are such a familiar part of village life.

Behind these experiences are local business owners, volunteers, community organizations and residents who care deeply about Radium. Their efforts help make our village a wonderful place to live, work and visit.

It is a privilege to serve as Mayor of a community my family and I are proud to call home. I look forward to meeting you, whether around the village, at a community event, or over a cup of coffee.

On behalf of Council, welcome to our village. I encourage you to explore, connect with our community, and enjoy all that Radium Hot Springs has to offer.
